My New Ride!

My sister Kayci has been telling me that I need to post my new ride, so here it is! It is a 1997 Ford F250 Heavy Duty Crew Cab ... that's all I know. You are probably wondering why in the world I am driving such a beast, so here is the story. Skylar started the Tempe academy two weeks ago so he had to quit his job as a superindent. He sold his F150 so that we would have enough money as back up for the next few months because he won't be making as much as he did until he graduates from the academy. My father in-law has had this truck since it was brand new but also has a newer truck that he drives around and my brother in-law just bought a new truck and so this truck pretty much just sat around. So my husband had the great idea of borrowing this truck for me to drive so that he could drive my car to and from the academy to save on gas. By the way, my in-laws live in Utah, so Skylar and his cousin Brandon drove up to Utah and hauled this truck down and Skylar got it all fixed up and ready for me to drive. Well, this is the third week of me driving the beast and I have to say that I love it! I love being up high and there is tons of room in the cab and the kids enjoy seeing everything through the windows. I had to get used to parking and backing out of parking spaces, but I have gotten better! This sucker has two fuel tanks! It's awesome that I can just flip a switch and the tank is full again! This truck is only temperary, but it sure is fun! Thank you to my mother in-law who cleaned it out for me, and my brother in-law for taking off the Cowboy Mafia sticker and my father in-law for trusting me to drive it and to Brandon for taking the trip to Utah!

That is the funniest thing. I was wondering who's truck was at my house today. I love big cars all except trying to toss the kids in and lift the baby seat in. FUN!
