Starting her early!

I'm posting this a little late but for Daisy's birthday I took her to Avante' Salon to get her toes and fingers painted. She LOVED every single moment! Thank you so much Holly!!

She smiled like that the whole time!

Superstition Farm Field Trip

Slade's preschool class took a field trip to the Superstition Farm and it was so much fun! The girls and I decided to tag along too. We took a tour of the farm on a hayride and saw the many cows they have there. Maylee wanted to pet those cows so badly!

She thoroughly enjoyed herself!

They got to hold a rooster.

I was told this was a rabbit?!

Slade and the ugly chicken thing :)

Daisy fed the donkey!

Slade fed the goats.

And donkey...

Daisy wants a rabbit now!

After feeding the animals the kids were able to try flavored milk and yummy ice cream! It was a fun day at the farm!!

Maylee taking care of Merrick

Maylee is very motherly and enjoys taking care of her cousin Merrick who is about 9 months younger. She likes to take his binky...

Hold him...
And then drop him...
Then she tries to give his binky back...

Who can say no to that face?!

Pat's Run 2010

Cody, Kristi and I ran in Pats Run this past Saturday in Tempe. Its a 4.2 mile race that took us over the Tempe Town Lake and ended at the 42 yard line in the stadium. It was a fun race with TONS of participants. I will be doing it next year for sure!

At the finish line! And no, it did not take us 2 hours to finish, haha!

It felt great to run in my first "official" race. Despite all of the people that participated in this run it was still totally worth it!

Sister's Night!

Kayci, Kendyl and I decided to take our soon-to-be sister in-law out for a fun night so we went to Olive Garden for dinner and stopped at a couple very important stores at the San Tan Mall. After looking through the pictures on my camera I realized we only took pictures during dinner... and most of them were of me :) Hmm... thanks Kendyl! The night was FULL of fun and laughing!!

Kaitlin thinks we are nuts!
But who could blame her, right?!

Okay, this is what we really look like :)

No one wash their hands in the Olive Garden bathroom!! I rubbed my nose with my finger and almost barfed. My fingers smelled like baby vomit and I thought it was from holding baby Merrick (sorry Merrick!) but I soon realized that both of my hands smelled that way! Then Kayci smelled her hands and it smelled the same! It turned out to be the soap from the bathroom and no one had any lotion to mask the smell so we made a pitstop at Bath and Body Works.

It was a fun night that ended with a stop at Yogurt Jungle. Thanks ladies for the fun night and Kaitlin you passed :) We all love you and welcome to the family! Oh, and I will definitely be taking pictures at your shower tonight, heehee!

Soccer Season

I signed Slade up to play soccer this year and he is loving every minute of it! He has his cousin Kleven on his team as well as two other friends. His coaches are his Uncle Chris and his preschool teacher's husband. His team had their first game this past Saturday and it was HILARIOUS! After a while Slade understood the point of the game but he just needs to work on going the right direction with the ball :) Here are some action shots:

He and his friend Jake had so much fun on the field together.

Slade was able to play goalie and he did great!!

Slade and Skylar used to play soccer in the backyard and before his game I was trying to explain the game to him and that he needs to run really fast, like daddy showed him... His reply was, "I think I'm faster than daddy and I can kick the ball harder too." Oh yes, he is his father's child! Its fun to see Slade out there playing soccer and I know Skylar would be so proud of him. Slade asked me if daddy was playing soccer in Heaven and if there was grass there with flowers. I said that I am sure of it! He was satisfied with that. He is such a joy!

Daisy's 3rd Birthday!!

Daisy celebrated her 3rd birthday today, well, actually the past few days :) She was able to go to Buid-A-Bear on Thursday and picked out a pink multi-colored bear and dressed her like a ballerina. On Friday, we went and saw How to Train Your Dragon at the IMAX and she loved it! Saturday she got to watch conference and then we went to Peter Piper Pizza for dinner. And, believe it or not, the celebrations are not over! She woke up this morning very excited to be three and was happy for most of the day! Her birthday will always land around General Conference, but I will have to remind her that she chose to come early so it wasn't my fault ;)

Grandma Stock sent her a barbie head. That sounds funny, but Daisy really enjoys styling hair so this gift was perfect!! Shhh! Slade got into it as well...

Birthday candle! Slade blew it out the first time so this was the second time around.

Miss Smiley. What a contagious smile!

Had to pull the poor cats tail :)

Our friends, the Boretsky's, were able to meet us for the movie and all the kids loved it!
Dear Sweet Daisy, I sure do love you!
