We planned to get our family pictures taken on Wednesday and Slade decided he wanted to color. He wanted to use the Crayola markers and did great for a while. Skylar was there with him the whole time but when he was done he looked like this!!
After a lot of dish soap and scrubbing, it all came off. Aren't they supposed to be
washable markers? Meaning they easily wash off?
Daisy is very much a daddy's girl and enjoys being with him every waking moment. So, you can image the tanrum she threw when I didn't allow her to go outside with Skylar while he was helping a friend weld something. Oh man! I couldn't help but laugh...it seems so ridiculous, and I realize these are FAR from over!
And, the next day, cousin Kleven came over. He and Slade were coloring once again with the markers and they decided to polka-dot eachother! They were having such a good time until they got in trouble...

I love that picture of Daisy! So true! Kleven just announced tonight, "Look, Mom, the colors are all gone! I'm not in trouble any more!"

Whats up with toddlers and tatooing themselves? I deal with it everyday. I have to put all pens and markers up real high. Atleast my walls are still free of "kids art." I hope yours are too.
I hate markers! I just threw every single one of ours away. Cade has colored on himself more times this summer than I can count. Yesterday since all the markers were gone, he used a plain black pen. All the way from his toes to his thighs he had "race tracks". Ya, fun times. I'm glad to see that your markers at least came off, mine always require 3-4 baths!
