And, for the people with strong stomachs, read on! (Journaling purposes!!)
While I was writing the post above, Slade decided that he needed to go poo. He was in his room playing with Sadie, who I babysit a few times a week, so of course he waited until the last minute to run to the bathroom. He had already pooped a little bit in his underwear, so as I was carefully taking them off, as to not drop the load inside, Slade moved and the load fell out and landed on the floor!!! AAHH!! That is when I lost it and started gagging, then lost all of my lunch in the sink. Well, the sink wasn't holding up so great, and with Slade on the toilet, I had no choice but to rush to the tub. So, now that I have recovered and was able to clean up Slade's mess, my sink is clogged and my husband is at work. Do I ask my neighbor, who is a friend, to help me unclog it??
And another story that cannot go untold!
Skylar was in charge of the kids last night because I was at a Scentsy party. He told the kids to stay inside while he went to the garage to cut a few pieces of wood. When Skylar was done, he tried to open the door but it was locked! He knocked and knocked and yelled for Slade to unlock it, but all he heard were the kids screaming and crying. He remembered that he had left the sliding glass door unlocked earlier, so he went around to try it, but Slade had locked that too! We always keep the front door locked, so that wasn't an option. He stood at the back door, knocking and knocking for Slade, but he only saw Daisy and she was just wondering around crying! Skylar waited a few minutes, and then Slade finally appeared and unlocked the back door to let Skylar in. So, what Slade said happened was that he climbed into the DRYER and Daisy shut the dryer door trapping Slade inside!!! Slade said he cried and cried because there were monsters in the dryer, but then he kicked really hard and the door opened. Believe me, he will never do that again! We are grateful it ended the way it did, because it could have turned out absolutely horrible! We now have a hide-a-key! And, I figured out why Slade climbed in the dryer in the first place. We were watching Air Bud today, and the girl hides in the laundry thing in the hallway and when that part came, Slade said, "She's hiding in the dryer! That's not good!!" He's seen that movie maybe twice before, but other than being a boy, I couldn't figure out why he would try that.

Oh my gosh, Kari! That is so scary about Slade in the dryer! I'm glad he got out. And your baby is so cute, I love the toes! I wouldn't have been able to not check for the gender. :)
that is hilarious! BOYS! yea- i'm so excited for this baby!
I'm crying! That was SO funny! I won't say I can't believe he did that, but DANG! I'll bet Skylar was SO mad! How close do you think he was to kicking the door in?
And the barf in the sink was classic! We were at mom and dad's that night and dad said something about needing to drive out to fix it for you... how did you remedy that situation?
Oh Kari that is all just too much! I sometimes can't believe all the stuff that happens in 1 week, you poor girl. I hate getting sick and it is so much worse when you are pregnant. I have had my kids lock me out of the house before too and it is scary at least it was only your kids crying because when it happened to me I was standing outside crying too!
First off... You can and should take a cake decorating class. If *I* can do it, anyone can.
Second, your stories are cute and funny. Of course, I'm sure they weren't at the time. I'm glad Slade is okay and that Skylar was able to get into the house. Also, I'm SO sorry you are sick! There really isn't much worse than morning sickness! I'm glad that Baby Stock is doing well, and I can't wait to hear the gender!!!
oh man Kari! That is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time! I can't help but laugh about you barfing but I also feel bad for you. Poor slade! What a smart kid though to know to kick the door open. You're going to have a bunch more stories like these with those two. Daisy doesnt put up with Slade's stunts... which i'm sure you taught her! good thing you're such a sport.
